Access to digital resources unavailable 10-11 May 2014

Because of maintenance on McCormick's network and servers this coming weekend, both on- and off-campus access to digital resources will be unavailable. McCormick IT hopes to restore access by Monday 12 May 2014.

Congratulations to all LSTC and McCormick students who will be graduating in May! Before you leave, please stop by the library to return any JKM or I-Share library materials that are still charged to your account, and have us update your status to alumnus/alumna (alumni have local borrowing privileges at JKM, but not at any I-Share or University of Chicago libraries), along with any change of information.

Ministry Matters™ includes biblical reference resources such as The New Interpreter's Bible; biblical commentaries such as the Abingdon Old and New Testament commentaries series; lectionary resources, such as Proclamation; sermon collections and illustrations; preaching reference; worship resources; Christian theology and history of Christian thought reference resources; pastoral resources, Bibl translations; and, teaching resources.

New database: 20th century religious thought

Twentieth Century Religious Thought is a cross-searchable online collection of the seminal works and archival materials of key worldwide 20th century religious thinkers.

Off-site access to digital resources restored

Off-site access to all databases and digital resources has been restored as of Thursday 20 February 2014. Iinstead of using the direct link to the EBSCO databases and the username/password distributed earlier this month, you can access all digital resources to which JKM subscribes by clicking on the Databases tab (above), and then clicking on Off-campus access to digital resources link. You'll then be prompted for your username and password. If you experience any difficulties with access, drop us an email at infocommons@jkmlibrary.org.
