The JKM Library is seeking a Digital Instruction Librarian. The position is responsible for producing and mounting instructional library LibGuides and videos,and teaching patrons how to produce instructional videos for ministry and research, how to use and evaluate the library’s technology and digital resources, and how to curate privately procured digital resources.

In light of the threat of gun violence in the University of Chicago quadrange today, Monday 30 November 2015, both the Lutheran School of Theology and McCormick Theological Seminary, as well as the JKM Library are closed. Regular hours will resume tomorrow.

Compliments of Brill, we have trial access to v. 1-159 of the online Vetus Testamentum supplements and v. 1-151 of the online Novum Testamentum supplements until 6 November 2015. The supplements — which include both monographs and collections of essays — cover the whole range of Old and New Testament study.

We're happy to announce that the library's new website www.learn.jkmlibrary.org is up and running. This website will serve as a full-text, searchable database of LSTC and McCormick D.Min. and ACTS D.Min. in Preaching project-theses/professional papers (currently most of what is available are project-theses completed as part of the ACTS D.Min. in Preaching program).
